Neat find. Thanks for taking us along. I have never heard of it but I bet Gunth has. Someone will chime in with some info. Congrats. Its a cool bottle.

I sold one of these to a family w/ Sims as a last name - They fill them up with whiskey and take them camping! I thought it was one of the best uses of an antique bottle I've heard of!

Great find!

Thanks guys… from what I can find, and others have found, there seems to be some question as to whether this ever went to market… some have thought that since all the known examples of this bottle are in mint condition that some bottles were made and never used… I think it is now safe to say that it did go to market now… at least this one did anyway…
