Torpedo Bottle found in well

Hi I'm new to this site, I am trying to find out any information about a bottle I found whilst excavating and existing well.

I live in Yorkshire, England the bottle is a torpedo shaped bottle.
On it is embossed , "Rider & Son", "Sheffield" , further round the bottle is an embossed figure of a man riding a horse with a Hand above to the left and a Sun above to the right.

Can anyone help me with this, I would like to find out as much as possible about my find.

Sounds as though you have found a soda pop bottle , and one with some really nice embossing , can you post a picture of it ?
