Anybody seen this variant before? It says TURLINGTONS BALSLM on the front and THE KINGS PATENT on the back. I didn't know if the misspelling was common on these or not. Nice open pontil. Should I soak it in something to clean it up a bit or should I leave this one alone??

I have that one listed in aqua. I cant tell if yours is aqua or clear flint.
I would leave it as it is, it looks fine.

Matt - it is a very pale aqua. For some reason I can't find the listing in your guide for the spelling BALSLM - can you help me out?

Tigue - yep, ebay. I have a few later versions, and just wanted to add an OP to the group!

I recorded that particular example last year so it wouldnt be in the 2008 guide.
Also, it was a flared lip. Yours appears to be a rolled lip if I am seeing it correctly.
Spelling errors on the Turlingtons are not that uncommon.
