Tom (treasurehunt) and I had a good day on Saturday. We were digging a relatively shallow but wet woodliner and came out with these two keepers. There were three other damaged mineral waters, but none as nice as this one.
If someone could please post a picture of a flask with what is KNOWN to be a snake in its beak, versus a banner, I would appreciate it. People are saying this is a banner in the eagles beak, but every banner I have seen has a double tail (a cut out) at the end.
Anyone know what the # is on this flask? I can't find it and no one I have sent the pics to can, either. The pics don't do the color justice, as I have never seen this color of green in a flask before.
Thanks,
Bill

I don't know anything about them, but those are some really nice bottles. NICE finds!!! It would make my year to find those!

I bet the green in that flask looks like candy in person. Great digs!

How bad were the other mineral waters, and were they all the MT. Clemens bottles? Are those mineral waters later than the flask?

You didn't happen to reverse those pictures of the flask did you? It seems like most of the double eagle and pikes peaks I've seen had the eagle facing the opposite direction? Either way, it's definitly not your average aqua blue!
Here's a pick of one that seems to have a snake rather than a banner in it's mouth.

Wow! Looking at those two bottles makes me think I don't know as much about mineral water bottles or eagle flasks as I thought I did. I've never seen anything like either of them. Is the mineral water Canadian? Where is Mt Clemens? The design on that eagle is so plain and simple, really primative. The color is awesome. I look forward to someone who knows more about them to elaborate on both.
Thanks for sharing them, they look great !
