Wow! No way I would handle that without gloves and a respirator. That could be some very nasty stuff in there. What if you dropped it !

If this did contain a deadly form of influenza, I'm certain it would be dead by now. Most influenza viruses live a week at most outside of the body.

The first clue would be the use by date, which was long enough ago so that the contents would not be dangerous. BUT I would not recommend drinking the stuff. Cool bit of history, just a bit macabre...........Andy

I like it. I'd love to add it to my collection--it's a Michigan piece, so it's perfect. Definitely a lovely piece for any medical-related bottle collection.
