I finally bought a copy of "BITTERS BOTTLES" by Ring and Ham. This bottle is not listed. It is the same as E31 with the exceptions: It has the "ELECTRIC" BRAND BITTERS on both front and back panels and it has numbers on the base. If a forum member has the supplement to Ring and Ham would you see if this bottle is listed there? I will get a copy eventually but these reference books are starting to cost more than half the bottles listed in them. George

It's not in the supplement either. Sounds like they made a mistake and put the name on two sides. Usually one panel would say " H.E. BUCKLEN & CO."

Yours dates to after the pure food and drug act of 1906, when they added the word "Brand" to the name.

Thank you Paul!
The bottle has been sitting in a local shop for several months but I thought that it was just another common. When I looked in the book and could not find it listed, I went right out and bought the bottle. It should be possible to trade an unlisted variant bitters for an extra crude jar or two. George

Hey George, I can't speak it's rarity but I do have examples of both types. Nice job making it yours!
