Are the Kovel's guides pretty acurate? I was told these bottles are on fire with prices really taking off.Just wondering where to go to sell this pretty yellow-amber beauty.E-Bay seems to be down.Any suggestions for an auction house. Thanks

thats up to you, a very good crude yellow one can go from 800 - 1200, maybe more or less... I recommend glassworks or Heckler...

the Kovel prices are very unreliable because of a lack of description... their prices are strait from auction, but what auction, or for that matter what bottle? they dont tell you...

Hello gratefuldigger,
A couple of good pictures would sure be nice to look at. I’m not an expert, but as Bear has stated, I keep a sharp eye out on these bottles. I have a substantial collection of these type bottles that I was lucky enough to dig a few years ago. Tigue’s estimate is pretty close depending on condition and color. (hence the need for pic’s) I have bought from American Bottles, and GlassWorks with nothing but praise. I have heard Heckler’s was every bit as good to work with. I have never sold a bottle at these auction houses. Ebay is an unstable market for higher end bottles but you don’t have the 12-15% sellers fee either. I would be interested in it myself except the way you describe it, I believe I have one very close to it. Hope this helps and I would love to see a few pic’s. Kelley

If you have a photo editing program, go there, bring the pic up and reduce the image size to around 500. Then it should post with no problems. Kelley
