Weekend Additions

I went to an auction over the weekend and picked up a few things xD [attachment=IMG_0729.JPG] I got these two first, one is a local crate from joplin MO and the other is Detroit MI, the bottles rang from 60s-70s.[attachment=IMG_0731.JPG] The crate is not in the best shape but iv never seen one before, and it came with 21 bottles so i wasnt complaining. I cant tell where the crate is from as both ends are not in good shape.
Iv never heard of Duffys before so i decided to grab the crate. When i researched the brand alot came up. I liked the bottles so now i have to find some to go with the crate! Cardboard crates have always been a want of mine and when i saw those 2 i had to grab them. It also didnt help that the bottles came along with! []
I have coke and pepsi plastics but not a Double Cola, thought it looked pretty cool with bottles in it. (Guy must of been a double cola collector or something) [attachment=IMG_0736.JPG] All of them together, lets just say my Double cola bottle count went from 2 bottles to around 100.

Sunrunner - I understand [] when you were able to grow up with these you don't see much special in them, but me being 17 i dont know what its like to drink out of them.

Jblayblock - I agree! The owner must of really liked Double Cola.

Don't know if you have a Cracker Barrel Restaurant near you but they sell Double Cola in bottles. Might want to stop in if you can and try some out... their new bottles aren't as cool as yours but at least you could have Double Cola from a glass bottle. And those are great bottles, very retro.

I always get a Double Cola to go when I eat at Cracker Barrel. It's good stuff!
