What are you paying for Gas in your area?

An article in the paper this morning said gas prices will 'surge' this week in California. They listed several small reasons, a fire here and power outage there, for the rise in prices. Lately, I've been paying between $4.05 and $4.10 here, although I have seen prices from $3.96 to $4.35.

I used to drive 130 miles a day round trip to/from work until I started working from home. That works out to about $600 a month just for driving to work. That's insane and I know a few people who have to do that.

They didn't say how high it might go, only that the average will be around $4.40. What is everyone paying for gas in your corner of the world?

it varies from day to day... $3.59 today, but it's been around $3.80-$3.90's usually. I like to go hiking a couple times a week, and i usually drive 100+ miles to get somewhere because columbus ohio, turns out, pretty lame so you gotta' get away from it eh?
I also drive like a huge douche bag which doesn't help
