What could this be?

I found this while walking around my yard after a rain. To me it looks like an Indian object. It is 41/2" long. I was told that it was a celt, but it looks nothing like the ones that I've seen. Please help.

Can you post a picture of it? There are some guys on here who are pretty knowledgable about Indian artifacts.

Sorry, I couldn't download the photo. The stone is greenish in color and is tapered, with rounded ends, one being wider(2") and the other a little over 1".
