What is it ?

Any guesses ? It is a square amber bottle with no embossing. The top is sealed with red wax, but also has a ground stopper wrapped in cloth. Is it a foreign poison or medical bottle ?

from the label, Spiritus Vini 85...
Spiritus means alcohol
85 would be the percentage of alcohol in it.

I'd say, it was for rubbing alcohol.
