Found this in foundation wall with some shells....any ideas? I'm guessing after 1900..

Hi,
It looks like it has a ground top and a screw-on type lid. I would reckon that is was a salve or cream or lotion jar.

Well it looks like a neat old jar for cosmetics. If the seams go all the way up and it had the threads in the mold, the top would have to have been ground. The bottom design is unique enough to keep in anyone's collection. RED Matthews
