What is this little green thing?

Got this bottle today but i dont know what it is. I have been told it is BIM and is from sometime before 1900 but other than that i dont know. What i want to know is what is it? Intil someone can come up with somthing better, i am going to pass it off as a canning jar[]

ok, 3 people say shoe polish so i am gona go with shoe polish.
If it was a fruit jar, you could maybe store raisons in it.

ok im in the dark here whats the big deal with me saying its to small to be a fruit jar? i dont know about your computers but on mine there isnt anything that hints at the fact that he was kidding about calling it a fruit jar except a smiley face which i now get will someone enlighten me as to why this is so funny?

are we sure its BIM ? it looks like to me there is a seam going around the outside of the lip on the top if it is a seam then this cant be BIM it would have to be ABM

heres the lip, i guess that if there is a mold sem around the lip like this it's ABM, i called it BIM because i was told it was. I thought the lip had to curel into the opening of the bottle for it to be ABM. Heres the pictures:
