Coca Cola,
Nice bottle. This is a 1930's bottle and was the early days for what became Double Cola. Not all that easy of a bottle to find in good condition.

sodapops,
Thanks for the compliment. Up until about 20 years ago, I mostly collected Native American themed bottles. Someone got my name and called me asking for a Jay Kola bottle. At the time, I just said no, but I'll keep my eye out for it. But in the back of my mind, I kept saying,
"That sounds familiar." Finally one day, I went in a closet and kept digging around and viola! I found this in there and brought it out. Of course, then I started collecting everything under the sun. But it brought back the memory of my aunt and the fun we always had together. I am glad to still have this bottle that she bought me so many years ago.

Thanks bottlingco. I didn't know much about it, but it has always been my favorite among the few ACL I have. It's definitely the star of my collection! I'm glad I went with my mum to the store that day, or I would have never found it! [:D]

Cool Jumbo Cola bottle. By who and when was it made? If you're not sure, just post a picture of or tell us what the embossed base numbers and symbol are.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about it besides what bottlingco mentioned above. But I can provide the Pat number and what was on the bottom! (sorry for no close up photo, my camera doesn't focus well)

Thanks for the info. It appears your bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Streator, Illinois in 1935. The earliest confirmed painted label soda bottle I know of is a 1934 Jumbo Cola ... so your's is a very early example of an acl and definitely a keeper!
