Hey everyone! Finding alot of great info here, and some pretty great bottles. Was wondering what some of the rarest bottles you have dug might be. Thanks for posting them.
Probably an E.K.THOMPSON'S SWEET WORMPOWDER,...or maybe the WISHART'S PINE TREE TAR CORDIAL...I guess compared to historical flasks and so forth, nothing major remarkable, but still grateful for the one's I find...I don't have an easy way to post pic's but will eventually. [] Joe
I have dug several local bottles that are one of a kind. Other than those, my rarest dug bottle is an open-pontiled W. Braunewell mustard barrel from the 1840s. ~Jim
when I was 12 or so I searched an old collapsed barn on a farm close to where I lived. sitting right on top I found a Willington whiskey 6th. I'm told only ten of this varient are known to exist! One of my favorites either way.
in this hobby, rarety is generly reganel. i have for exampal a shaft and glob or another word for it is ongin. now this bottle is rare in the midwest, but perhaps in the midatlatic stats youll come across them, and agen lets say in ohio a local sqat soda may be more prized.
