who made this beautiful vase

This was my Grandmothers vase. I believe it is 1900's it has two oval bottle marks on the bottom. One appears to be a scale while the other appears to be a name.

Has anyone seen this vase before and could give me a heads up on who made it and when. I would assume 1950's to 60's however it could have been something she got from her ancestors.

personally ..i think it looks more (toc)-1920 then 1950s its got a cool little lean to it ! i bet if your grandma knew that that little vase she had lying around would have made you so happy she would smile ...do you use it?

Yes, it's Fenton's Beaded Melon Vase. Look at the marks closely, as Fenton began marking in the 1970's with a 7 in a circle, then 8 in the circle for 1980's, etc.
Love the opalescent top.

Oh yeah, I was her best bud. She got me into antiquities without even knowing it. She had an old Stoddard Middletown Springs mineral bottle she had salvaged from my Dad's target practice. That was the first old bottle I ever remember.

We do use the vase and cherish it. My wife tells me it is hers now.

It is a Fenton. Thank you to all. I believe it is a 7 even though it looks like a 4 or a "1" with parens (thus the scale like appearance). If they started marking in the 70's it must be a 7.
