Double Line

I have the 12 oz. green/white acl Double Line clear glass bottle. No town listed on it. Got it several years ago from Mike Barbera, Tennessee collector/dealer. Don't have a camera (yet) plus I wouldn't know how to use it anyway. Been without a PC since May of this year, just now catching up with...

Pat. Health problems with wifey. She fell a week ago in bathroom. Worked 3rd shift last nite, midnite - 8:00 AM. Spent ALL day at hospital today, x-rays (3 different times) 2 MRI's. Took medical staff 12 hours to tell us she has a compressed vertebrae w/ hairline fracture. No surgery, just rest...

Fishnuts. I had several of the 1960/1970's screens for old Caravan (by Cheerwine) bottles from Laurens given to me by David Meinz back in the 1980's who spent several days at Laurens researching ACL's. These screens were made from super fine wire mesh. David had the oppurtunity to interview...

Very Light Yellow Amber SS Coke

May be way off base, here. I hope this bottle is not one of those 70's reproductions (from an original mold). That's the story I've heard over the years. Not saying this bottle IS a repro, but the really gloppy crown-to-neck makes it suspect to me. Just my humble opinion. Hey, Morb, Hillsville...

Some great stuff, Pat. Thanks for posting it. Won't see me there. My company is forcing many of us to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week. Money is good, but I value my time off. Ain't gonna complain though, being the economy is what it is, and so many without work. Besides, I hate auctions anyway...
