I found an ink bottle with a faded ACL today and one of the first digs of the season I swore I found a coffee applied color label it was real faded, So I set it aside to get later and never did find it.
besides those two the only other vintage ACL bottle I find is a a soda or water product.
what other ACL items exist besides soda's and the Ink I mentioned?

Speaking of that, here's one that weirded me out on ebay...

Yeah, Pat I got a bunch of those old product bottles with ACL's from 40, 50, 60's. You wouldn't believe some of the color combinations used on these that have never been used on ACL sodas. Once again, IMHO, I think a lot of the ACL milk and medicine bottles predate the ACL sodas, perhaps very early 30's. I feel that glass companies probably tinkered quite awhile to perfect this process in it's infancy. Unlikey they just snapped their fingers and it happened. Randy

Hello Everyone,

Here is a set of 5 different sizes of pharmacy bottles from Palace Drug, Clarksville, Ark., that I'm lucky enough to own.

Enjoy,

Dean

oh yeah, duh, I can't believe I forgot to mention milk bottles in the first post. I just love some of the quirky designs and sayings on the soda and milk bottles. I prefer the labels to be a bit beat up from being outside "in the wild" as opposed to buying a totally clean one at a antique store etc. I think it gives the bottle more character if it's a bit worn from years outside. Unless I find something really good, I usually don't buy ACL bottles just find them in the wild.

I don't think the pyros for medicine lasted as long. Either that or they weren't used much. I do have a Sno-(something) Coffee bottle with a pyro label.
