By the way, I was browsing an antique store the other day and I saw a bottle nearly identical to this one except that it was Turpentine instead of castor oil, also Frank Tea and Spice.
I recently came across a Frank Tea & Spice castor oil bottle and was wondering if anyone could tell me how much a bottle such as this is worth. The bottle is clear and shaped like a flask and has a cork top. The bottle is about 5 1/2" tall and is embossed "2 Fl. Oz. Pure Castor Oil (in...
I recently came across a Good Grape bottle from Elizabethton, TN. The bottle is green in color and is about 7 3/4" tall. The bottle is embossed "Good-Grape Bottle Min. Cont. 6 Fl. Ozs." in a slanted banner near the shoulder on both sides and is embossed "Elizabethton / Pat. / Pending / Tenn."...
I recently came across an amber squat, blob top style Weiss Beer that sounds like one mentioned at the start of this post. The bottle I have says F. Sandkuhler / Registered / Baltimore, MD. in a circular slug plate on the front. The bottle has Weiss Beer embossed in a straight line on the...
Does anybody know anything (value, etc.) about a light green Hutchinson style bottle from Di Filippo & Co. Camden, NJ. The bottle has Di Filippo & Co. Camden, N.J. in an oval slug plate with a monogram logo in the center. The bottle has a mug base and is about 7 1/2" tall. The bottle is in...
Does anybody know anything (value, etc.) about an aqua blob top soda or beer that is embossed Eastern Bottling Co. Plainfield N.J. (in slug plate with an "EBC" monogram in the middle). The shoulder of the bottle says Registered and it says This Bottle Not To Be Sold near the base. The bottle...
The Mint Cola bottle that I have from Norton, VA doesn't have the bottler information embossed on the side like the one from Bristol. The town name is embossed near the base on one side and the opposite side is embossed with Mint Cola Bottling Co. The bottle is sort of an ice blue color.
Hey everybody, this is the first time I've been on here in a while! I have a Mint Cola bottle that is identical to the ones in the ad that are embossed with Salisbury, NC, except my bottle is embossed Norton, VA for the town name. I found an ad for Mint Cola in a 1915 Norton, VA newspaper. If...
Yeah, those are the style of the Sunflower bottle from Norton. The one I have from Norton isn't in the best of condition, part of the ACL on the front is slightly faded (still nicer than the other two that I've seen).
There is also a Sunflower bottle from Norton, VA. With blue and white paint. This bottle is fairly hard to come by, I only know of about 3 that exist, although I'm sure there are more.
There are a few Chero Cola bottles from Virginia that I noticed were not on your list. I will try to get pictures as I dig the bottles out of storage. There are 3 varieties from Coeburn, VA - straight-side style, diamond pattern style, and swirl pattern. These 3 varieties also exist from...
Last week i dug a clear orange crush soda bottle. The bottle is 7oz. and is embossed in a diamond on one side O-C Beverages and has a diamond on the opposite side embossed with the patent date of the bottle (1920, I think). The bottle is embossed with Monroe, LA on the base. The bottle is...
