I know I found that dump long time ago but I didn't find many things worthy for the high standard of this forum. It's something wrong with that place. I pulled out bottles from a meter underground and they are still flaking and are sick like an albino parrot. Why?

Saturday I digged for four hours and, at the bottom of what was a 5 foot deep hole I found a plastic bag. Imagine the disapointment, I was so deep I heared two chinese talking. The woman said "Wake up darling, somebody is under our house, digging for bottles." I didn't wait to hear what the husband said, I was so upset, I filled back the hole.

Anyway, I've put toghether some of the more interesting things and I'll post them, to wash some of the shame.

First is a clay pipe, I believe is french, don't know the exact age.

The second item is a broken glass. It might not be older then the rest of the dump, but to me resembles with a medieval glass. Any opinions?

This is the base of the glass with a pontil mark, not clear in the picture but clear at touch.

A common bottle, but a lot of writing.

Hey Mihai, Great finds and old too. Love the little poison and the tiny bottle.

Sometime the sickness is caused by acids that break down the glass in layers. try a baking soda soak to neutralize the acid.
