    Rock with a groove

    Looks like a weight of some sort. I have found and studied similar stones here in NH that were used as weights for fishing nets in rivers. Hope this helps a little. Peace, T.[:D]

    soda with painted label.

    I don't collect sodas but this one seems cool. Blue and white label that reads KING BEVERAGES With a piece of fruit wearing a crown and a shield. It is from Boston. If any one would like to own it, send me a PM and I'll pop it in the mail. Free of coarse. Peace, T.

    As generations of bottle diggers come and go it will be harder and harder to find the good stuff. I have 2 sons who dig with me (13 and 10). Some days are great and, well we all know about the other days. The boy's interest was slipping from a dry spell, so I had to think of something quick...

    Black glass whiskey...

    The bottom is not pontiled but you may be on target for the age. It's hard to tell when it seems to be from England. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Thanks T.

    Black glass whiskey...

    I just pulled a black glass (VERY DARK green) whiskey out of a swamp. Embossed PATENT on shoulder and LIVERPOOL DIXIN & Co. on bottom with an 8 pointed star. Quite old 3 piece with low seams. Any ideas on history and maybe value? Thanks . T.
