I have a green blob top bottle which is about 8" tall and has apontil mark on
thebottom. There is an acid etched inscription which reads JP Sjogren 313
9th or 96 St SF. I found it in Burlingame, CA during a downtown road
construction.

Danoh, your picture is pretty blurry from this end. But from what I've read, early west coast bottles are eagarly sought after. From what I can make out from your picture, it looks like a very interesting find you got there, can you possibly re-post a smaller, clearer shot, and include one of the base as well. We'll do our best to help!

Sorry for the bad photography. Here are a couple of better images. And, I think the glass is black glass? I am still learning. The bottom of bottle in next post.

RE: Can anyone tell me what kind of bottle?

Does anyone know what kind of bottle this could be? What is the age and is it common? It does't appear to be green in the picture, but it is.
