On the front, the right side for the most part looks like it was easier for the painter than the left side - it's slightly better, in my opinion. and those little white lines in the middle at the top that curve down - that's lefty too.

I just found this on an English museums web site. It was made in Bohemia in 1572. Notice the neck and the closure. I would never guess this was 14th century. My guess is that this would appear modern to you as well, as it would to me too.
