thanks Matt,
By the way, I didn't see "Harry Hancock Pharmacist" listed on your website for Charleston medicine bottles.
Does that mean that bottle is rare?
Have you ever seen any Heinitsh's Drug Store bottles Spartanburg for sale? I would love to have one if you can reference me to an owner.
Thanks alot.
Marjorie
I dont cover local pharmacy bottles in my book (other than pontil and some rare ones). I try to focus on patent medicines. Pharmacy and druggist bottles dont have as wide appeal as other medicines and value is difficult to determine. In addition, my book would have to be about 10X as large to list them all.
I leave it to state/city bottle guides to cover these bottles. For instance the Baltimore bottle book is going to be able to cover Baltimore area pharmacies a lot better than I can.
Hello Marjorie, I see where you posted this thread in 2007 but I have variants of the Heinitsh Walker Drug Store Bottles if you are still interested in purchasing any. I'am new to this site but I've collected Spartanburg, S.C. and Spartanburg County bottles for 37 years and did most of my digging in the 1980's through the 1990's. Regards, Daryl
