Be sure and count the bubbles on the lable. Note the one on the right [ not the amber squat ] has 8 while the one, two over to the left, has seven.

The first one mentioned is from 1938 while the other is from arond 1952.

And the amber one from Charleston is dated 1937.

The all white lable...........................didn't we have big knock-down drag out several years ago about them?

I would like to think so and maybe someone else knows for sure but Quite a few of my 7-Up bottles i know are from the 60'-70's have that saying on them,so to me that is iffy on the carton.

That saying is at least from the early 1940's... I'm sure the experts will know about the dates of these bottles...

According to Alan Petretti's 1996 edition of "Soda Pop Collectibles Price Guide" the 7up cardboard carrier in question is from the 1930s.

Plus, here's some more helpful information regarding bottles & slogans ...

None of the bottles I've seen say You'll like it, It likes you - They say You like it... or You like 7Up...

The bottles from the 8-bubble era tend to have a short 7 too. The 7-bubble ones the stem of the seven is long, like they are on this carrier. I'm sure there are exceptions.

Still cool, none the less.
