Excellent stories. The only digs were I ever got anything worthwhile were in West Philadelphia in Overbrook. Thanks for sharing. Scott

Cool stories Rick, I would like to have seen a pic of the Crude Oil figural. Sounds pretty cool.....and I see you had to rub our noses in the puce eagle again! Yeah, I spied it right off in the window shot...... HA! My heart skips a beat or two every time I see it! I would be VERY paranoid myself displaying it in direct sunlight. Lost a few good bottles due to quick temp. changes in a sunny window, but then that's just me. I keep my prized Wilcox's Cure in a locked cabinet away from any perceived (or imagined) dangers and bring it out to fondle on occasion.....like now! HA! (Sorry, couldn't help myself!) Happy New Year and good digging to you in 2014! Jack

Lord Jack, you're one to talk about rubbing our noses in a bottle, man! Killer, killer, killer!

Nice read, I agree it is good to get out and dig with friends even if you don't dig a great bottle. I never tire of seeing the puce eagle. Never dug one but did dig one broke in half once. Still hope to dig one someday. However I did find one of these.

Thanks I sent in nearly 75 pictures to John P. for this story. Once I send them I have no say what pix go in,but you are right I didn't even notice until you said that. The "oil Rig" is not there! Oh well. :) As to Mr Pucey on the windowsill, he was there for a split second ((((click))))) and back to bed he went :)
