Found this bottle last fall and just recently started to take a second look at it. I learned , through experience, that slicks are best left where they are., This one warrented bringing home just for size alone, graduated to 30 0z. and standing 11 in Here is a picture of it alongside of one of the smaller ones.

I had a large one like that a few years back . It was clear and was only marked with the Diamond & Illinois trade mark on the bottom of the bottle .

What's the significance of the Roman numerals that follow the number 3? I have a small screwtop(?) that has some other numerals, and I was just looking at one at the local antique store today that had a different set of Roman numerals. It was about as large as yours, ptb, but not sure it had those oz. graduations on it. It did have a purple hue to it. ~Mike

That question was asked and answered on here not too long ago Mike , and for the likes of me , I can not remember what the abbreviation stood for . Hopefully , who ever posted that information will see this and let you know .

It isn't the number "3", it looks like it but it's actually the symbol for "ounces" followed by the contents, so this bottle is actually 32oz...

Hey! Thanks everyone for the comments. I have 3 embossed meds that I consider large meds and they are all around 8" tall. The larger ones are always harder to find it seems.
