Thanks ... Then it's a 1936. The first amber's were made in 1935.

Regarding the mysterious number 24 ...
Every Owens-Illinois chart I am aware of does not show a plant number 24. I have a green 7up bottle similar to yours that also has the 24. But mine is dated 1937.
Here's another chart showing the chronology of the amber 7 ounce 7up bottle. But notice for San Diego that the X is under "standard" and not stubby. San Diego was the only city in the U.S. that made a amber "standard / slim" bottle. All the other cities made the squat/stubbies.
Also notice that it shows an introduction date of 1936. This has since been confirmed and changed to 1935 by Cecil Munsey, who is a local expert and who has a 1935 amber. Cecil lives in Poway.
