$204 would be a tiny fraction of what it would go for if it was an original colored pontil marked indian medicine.
If you look at who bid none of them seem to be the well known collectors.
I think the price isnt too surprising if it turns out to be an uncommon softdrink promotional bottle.

I saw this bottle 2 weeks ago at a flea market. It's thick, heavy glass and there's absolutely no wear on the base. They wanted $45 for it. A nice decorative item though.

If the embossing wasnt so hokey it would almost make a good fake (with a little wear and a better pontil mark). I doubt it was designed to deceive , more likely a decorative item or a novelty container for some product. Its the 3rd one I have seen so far over several years so there's no cargo containers of them being off loaded.

I don't think it's a repro of anything, just a new bottle of it's own design. Too good to be true? You bet.
