I can't recall if I have posted this bottle on here in the past.
It is a clear glass bottle embossed around the shoulder with Bavarian Hop Bitters and a bird trade mark.
This was found in Australia, but the glass does not to be of Australian manufacture. It is probably late 1800's, early 1900's.
Has anyone seen one before, and can anyone help with an origin for this piece?

Just going back over some older posts re Australian bottles; some information has been found on the bottle and placed on the Australian Bottle Forum: http://ozbottleforum.com/index.php?/topic/7038-bavarian-hop-bitters/page__hl__bavarian__fromsearch__1

It is classed as a Melbourne Bitters distributed by R O'Donnell & Co. circa 1884-86; here is a newspaper advertisement from Melbourne.
