Anyone know the date on these? I found 2 in the same hole, and heard that it was more commonly used by doctors than households back then. The cork has a bakelite cap.
I found two Lysols recently, a corker from 1938 and a screw-cap from 1953. These things are almost as common as Clorox bottles, but I keep them because they are embossed and are actually listed in the poison books. In my opinion, they would be more of a household bottle, but most disinfectant bottles are classified as poisons. I guess it would not be cool to drink Lysol [:'(] so the poison classification fits. The Kuhn number for the Lysol is KC-58. Jim
