Could this be a Privy?

I was in a Field where I think a old House once stood, Off to the side I found a big round depression & in this depression was a bunch of big Rocks. I've heard some people call these rocks & other items placed over a Privy were called a Cap to keep animals & others from digging it. Does anybody think this could be a Privy pictured her? LEON.

Could be a old root cellar that has collapsed!

Looks to me like a farmers rock pile. Farmers pull them out of the fields and stack them up to keep them out of the equipment.

Hard to see in pic but around the rocks was a slightly built up mound of dirt in circular shape with the sunken depression in middle of mound. In the Pics it all looks kinda flat. Also this was located near front of property where house would of been & behind this was 5 acres of Field. Farmers usually put there Rock piles at back property treeline & more of them. I'll need Tom to Probe it for me? LEON.
