D.P.&Co. Bottle

I bought the bott;e because it was from a druggist in my home town. It is a small (3.5 inches tall) amethyst bottle named to Geo Lindgren Druggist La Porte IND. On the bottom it is marked D.P.&Co Seller states it 1890 era and hand blown. I can find nothing about the maker's mark. I'm sure I'll be able to find information about the druggist at the library and historical society. What can you tell me about the bottle and/or maker? Thanks.
