Went out digging with Madman and Paul (forum name unknown) today and came up with some interesting finds.
About five to six feet down in the hole, we hit a layer of busted up coke bottles bunches of 1915's, and brown
cokes (arrow shoulder script, base script, base and shoulder script) that couldn't be saved. Of the 10 or so intact
1915's, there were four of them that brought home with me (I like cokes :D ). Three Knoxville and one Sweetwater
Tennessee. Also found an aqua krinkly Ward's Orange Crush, but it was cracked and pinged pretty badly.

Found a few medicine bottles too, a cobalt blue Laxol AJ White New York bottle, and a Dr. D. Jaynes expectorant bottle.
Paul found a tiny kv-1 poison (left and right poison) and gave it to me because I didn't have one.

It was a nice turn of events given how bad our luck has been down here recently. I only wish some of those brown ones
had made it!

You guys look like you are getting close. If there is a broke one there, they have to be some good ones. Keep it up they will be one that will turn up.

Here's hoping! It seemed like the layer we were digging in was going uphill very quickly, One possibility is to make a turn along that wall and try to go deeper again, but there's a huge steel a-frame in the way so we'll have to work around it until we can try to move/remove it. If all else fails we could just try to blow another hole through the three foot clay cap.

Nice finds, I'd definitely dig it. If that area is loaded with earlier cokes there is a chance of finding some rare small town 1915s or SS varieties. I've never dug any 1915 cokes, kinda strange.
