It's true! My puppy, Digger chews on glass bottles, among other things. He eats aluminum cans, uproots small trees and shrubs then shreads them, and eats large balls of clay. Yes, we do feed him and plenty. Digger is a Rottie, only 9 months old and 105 lbs. and growing. Pictured below is a look at him enjoying an aqua HOME BREWING.

He's a beaut ! My Yellow Lab used to chew on deer antlers...and sticks- until I had to extract slivers from his gums []....then I started buying him those giant beef hide bones!

Last month, as my wife and I were about to leave for the Mohawk Valley Bottle Club Show in Poughkeepsie, NY, Little Boone here (he was younger in this photo) decided it was ok for him to grab a bottle from one of my boxes... He ran off under the table with it... It was a mint o.p. "Genuine Essence", very thin glass... Wound up in pieces, most of which I retrieved... I was a bit nervous during the show, worried about whether he might have swallowed some glass... But he was ok, never had any problems... But it certainly started my bottle dealings for the day in a bit of a hole!

Dogs! Ya gotta luv 'em...

Ron

Great pictures and stories! I'm glad my two haven't shown any interest in chewing on glass - that would make me a nervous wreck!
