I Love this forum but seldom have anything to post and most of what I found is TOC. However I found this bottle today in Baton Rouge area and I was wondering if anyone had any info on it? It's only about 4.75 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide.
Also a Beekman's, Reed's, Jewetts, Wilsons, Gallups, Newells, Sears, Carters, Bailys, Stringents, Warrens, Harrisons, Dingee's, Larookahs, Huffs, & Braddock's Pulmonic Syrup, still no Dr. Bourbon. That's 25 Pulmonic/Pulmonary meds without a Dr. Bourbon
Thank you all so much for the help! I did find this link to a Dr. Bourbon's Bitters from Madison Wisconsin. If these are related I guess one possibility for it being in Louisiana is the civil war. I know a volunteer regiment from Wisconsin fought in the Battle of Baton Rouge in 1862. Just speculation at this point but I am going to search the area I found the Bottle for any signs of a camp. What would you all estimate the value for this bottle to be?
That's a really nice bottle ! That would be a keeper for me. Let us know if you list it somewhere. That's the only way to really determine value. Mitch
