I havn't posted for a while because of to much work, my winter depression, or my failing gear in the coldwater. I bought a special cold water reg that could be used in freezing water with low probability of free flows. This was exactly what I needed as almost all of my prior dives I was having problems with the cold. I also have been having to contend with poor visibility due to the fact we have been having storms every week for a while. So my chance was Monday just before the snowstorm. I did 2 tanks with somewhat good visibility. I found a couple of keepers I will post more when I can tomorrow.

In case you cant read the embossing its JOSEPH SMITH/ GROCER/ 143 MAIN ST/ JACKSON MICH
It strikes me as odd to find this bottle here in Maine as it seems like the type that would stay close to the source. Maybe a souvenier from a wild and crazy night in Jackson.

Coldwater. Wow. Is that ever a crier. That is one cool flask. I love the double rimmed neck. That is a beauty. I would be shocked if it wasn't very desirable. Good to see you out there already. This cold weather has kept me from any inkling that I will get out anytime soon.

Kevin,
Great flask. I had a clear one from Smith, years ago. I wish I still had it.
If you decide to part with that, please keep me in mind. We could work out a trade or do it in cash.
Thanks,
Bill

Love that flask. Even if it is glued together. Great find.
