Getting rid of stuff I don't want. This is one. Starting at a fair 20 + 6 for shipping. We'll say quiting time next Sun. at 9PM. Hows that sound. Yes Doyles
They're ok Mr. Lobey, actually I have several ok bottles over the years, I just don't collect them. The issue is as you see it. I mean that's the way it is. I'm sure it's a mold repair. Actually what it is,is I don't know. It's not a chip it's in the glass. Why start at 20? 1] Common bottle, most collectors have one. 2] I don't really see a whole lot of bidding here. 3] Worth? I usually see them in the 50-80 range at shows 3a] No need to sell a 50.00 bottle for 10.00 if no one bids 3b] Why donate less than 20.00 4] It's not for me.
Lurking? Naw just lazy...... no snakebite. My puter was busted Mr. Lobey. Went and seen Mr. Coinstar and a donation from Paula got me this brand new Gateway Tue.. So here I am. So Charles, now what we do? Woody tells me he got the money and you send me 6 bucks and an address? About what you ask, remember I don't get the money, and Roger don't care how much ya give[]. Let me know. Pat
Hello Osiaboyce, I looked at the pictures and assume that the possible weld was at the bottom of the first and second pictures. I didn't really see enough detail to be sure of weld being the cause of the marks. As you may know, I have spent many years studying old methods used to make bottles and especially hints of mold repair practices in the days before that subject was written about.
I assume cyberdigger ends up with the bottle, and that is just fine. It is a nice old bottle. We have been on the road for about a week migrating and visiting our way to NY for the summer. Best regards. RED Matthews
