Found ink well today. I think?

I dug up this "ink well" I dont know anything about ink wells. Any help would be great. The top does not appear to be the same glass, almost looks like a cloudy aqua. There are no markings on the base.

Hey Ace, I think you have a perfume with the origanal top. it must have been a high buck perfume in such a small ornate bottle. Very cool. You don't see stuff like that very often.

I thought it might be perfume, It just seems like the opening is to big, you would be putting on alot of perfume. Thanks for any information .

Nice find Ace! I dug this bottle early in the spring from a swamp filled with old bottles, it still had the original smelling salts in it.... not quite as fancy as yours but the same basic shape..... Taz

My wife and I are sitting here looking at the bottle, she says it smells like ink. But you guys are better at this then me.
