picked this up last weekend and i have to admit i know little about these kind of bottles .. can anyone give me an age or a little history of the company. also any clue as to how common or rare.. i dont see these often with the paper still on them. i paid 7.50 dollars at an antique mall that was having a moving sale, i think i did o.k. pricewise. any info. would help.
thanks

The actual bottle (plain ginger beer) is common and worth very little but I've only ever seen one or two with a lable still on them so I'd say you did alright with the price [:D] .
Lambeth is somewhere in England, there are a few potters marks around on GB's from there.

The ginger beers to look for are the one's that are impressed or transfered with a company name, one's with just the potters mark are not normaly worth a lot (there are a few notable exceptions though)

[:)] Like the Doulton Pottery, Stiff's Pottery was also situated at Lambeth, England. I am not sure, but I think bottles with his embossing on may be rare.[:)]

Certainly Stephen Green pottery bottles.
