Help Identify a Bottle base

Hello!
I have two Clear Glass bottle that is 10 1/2" h and the tops say "Federal Law probids sale or re-use of this bottle", 4/5 quart .The bottom has A(in a circle) 70 D-9(in a circle) 45 17(in a square).
I will do my best to post a pic.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Krant,

A in a circle was used by the Armstrong Cork Co. glass Division from 1938-1969 inclusive.


The Co. was sold to A.H. Kerr Glass Co in 1968.

Forgot to add that the other numbers are probably batch numbers and or plant numbers. Not much significance in helping with a date.

I forgot to ask you, is it Liquor,Wine Etc ??

From the looks of the base I would say Liquor......probably whiskey of some sort.
