Help me with this bottle please ??

Hi, so long story short I was digging around in my garden last year and I managed to unearth some pretty cool old stuff, including this medicine bottle. There were a few others too however they were broken and smashed so I left them and just took this one. I gave it a clean and on the front it says 'MOTHER SEIGELS CURATIVE SYRUP, LONDON.' There is also writing on either side of the bottle which reads A J WHITE and 36 LUDGATE HILL. At the time I found a little information online about the company who made this but not much else, has anyone else found one of these? Are they fairly common to find? Idea's on how much its worth?????
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Well bottlegal, there are several of us who are here to help newbies learn about old glass. I have collected glass for over 77 years now - I worked in the industry of making glass for 37 years, Traveled s good 75 percent of the worlds glass factories and many technical meets of what kinds of metal can help the cost of making good glass. I was selling some special metals for the ABM machine made glass bottles. After retirement, I have just really got into how the blowpipe glass products were hand made. RED Matthews

Welcome to the forum. Someone here should come up with something. If you are in the UK ( an assumption based on the London bottle), also check out the antique bottle collectors group on facebook. It seems to be mostly UK diggers.

Re: Help me with this bottle please ??

Hello Isabel, welcome to the forums. Your bottle is considered a "Cure" because any bottle with the word embossed or labeled Cure or a form of the word qualifies as such. It is a british brand but sold by A.J. White of New York, and of Laxol fame. It is fairly scarce here in the states but I believe it is more findable in the U.K. If in good shape, no nicks chips or bruises, or stain, it should bring about thirty five dollars on the cure market. I purchased mine from a U.K. digger for a little less than that a few yrs ago and mine was mint. Hope this helps........Andy
