This box of inks came with a bottle collection I recently purchased. I don't know much about any of these. Most are marked Sanford. Can anybody provide any information on these or an estamated value? I can post more detailed pictures if anybody would like.
Thank you in advance.

The two in front center look good, and maybe the weird ones in the back row?? It's quite an assortment!

The average sanfords, either cone or basic round ink, is at best a $5 bottle. Is there anything hiding in there that is odd shaped, or different embossing, or more embossing? If so post a pic of it by itself. Do any of the wells have embossing? Unembossed they are maybe $15 to $20. If embossed, they may be worth more.

The only well that has any embossing is shown below. It say Tatum and measure 2.5" x 2.5".

The only odd shaped inks are shown below. The dome shaped one says Patd Sept 4 1904 on the bottom.

The weird looking igloo shaped one is not an ink. It's a bird waterer that goes inside a bird cage. What else came with the collection you bought?

Saratogadriver,
Thank you for your input. I guess I'll put them back in the box for now.

CanYaDigIt,
The collection has a little of everything. Bitters, Whiskey, other liquors, sodas, jars, pharmacy, tokens, inks, ect...
Several boxes many of which I haven't had time to even open yet. It is like christmas!!

Post some pics if you get the chance. I love buying large collections like that. Especially when purchased at a good price. The only problem is the hundred of commons you end up with that wont sell. Those are usually yard sale material that go for $.25-$1 just to get them out of the basement. After that they go in the recycling. Although it sucks throwing out 100+ year old bottles, I don't think you can ever knock a dent in the supply of commons out there.
