I tried the French/English online dictionary, & got:

Injection in French means Injection in English; and
Brou in French means Husk in English.

"Shot Husk" doesn't make any sense to me...[:-]

I have the same bottle. Someone said it was a hair product or cologne but not sure. Think that was a guess from shape and size mostly. I too checked French/English translation which is no help. Maybe forerunner of cornHUSKer's hand lotion. Who knows.

Hi Stoney and Welcome -
I dug this same shape bottle with the center embossing only, earlier this year. After a little research, it seems that it was a 'dangerous patent medicine'. Yum - yum [:'(] and in a large size too. []

To Make
4 oz Water
20 grs nitrate of silver
1/2 oz tincture of opium
2 oz hydrate of bismuth sulfate Mix well.

Sounds dangerous to me.
