I picked this up at an estate sale assuming it is a reproduction but the more I look at it I am not sure. The front has lady liberty with a cap facing left but only 12 stars surrounding the liberty bust with Columbia arched between frame lines underneath. There is nothing on the back. There is no pontil and no letter or number marks on the bottom. The seam that runs up the sides does not go up to the lip but there are seam marks on the front and back of the lip that do not extend down the body of the bottle. It almost looks like the lip was molded separately and placed on sideways. I have several of the reproduction eagle flasks with the lipped top and this top is different. It is not flat across the top like the repro's that I have. The lip is curved in and down to a raised ring. There are also several small and large air bubbles and a few pieces of foreign material or debris within the glass. Toward the top rear of the bottle lines or straw marks? can be seen and the glass looks somewhat swirled, the outside is smooth but the inside surface is uneven. I know very little about old glass but since this is somewhat different then the reproductions I am curious as to what this is. [attachment=forum1.png]
