on the front it says milk of magnesia the chas.h.phillips chemical co. glenbrook conn. the bottom has 1 on left side looks like 5 on the other and says made in usa
any idea how old

This bottle actually dates back to the 1930s. Joe, you probably remember taking the newer ones that were also made of cobalt glass but they most likely had a paper label and not words embossed in the glass.

yes i agree with bottleman, your bottle is from the 30tys,i have dug lots of them but blue glass is cool! mm question when were the cork top versions made?

Heres a pic on one of my cork top milk of mags. Its not blown in mold but is dated 1906 near the bottom.

Hey, I have the same one!!! I have tis one and a different one, which looks slightly the same but has a crown top and "C.O.M" is in a sheild, not a slug plate.[:D]

yea..too bad it has a chipped lip..that's epoxy hiding it! Eh it's still worth saving
