Here are some images of the bottom of the brown whiskey bottle.
@blobbottlebob, thanks for the comments. All of those questions do come across my mind whenever I find an old object. I'm a big fan of history and digging up your own small piece of history is exciting to me. Thanks again.
And to everyone else who left a welcome, thank you for that. By the way I am from California.
So yesterday I found another green wine bottle nearly identical to the first one I found. The only difference being is the style of the tops/mouths. The first image is a comparison of the different tops.
Here are some shots of my other finds. I found most of these only a few days after my first find and a lot of them I found on the same day.
Here is a shot of a jar that was once used for baked beans.
Bottom shot:
An old Bayer aspirin bottle. Please excuse the dirt, this thing had roots growing inside and haven't had a chance to clean it properly. It says "The Bayer Co Div."
Next up is a bottle that I have no idea what it's original purpose was. My fiance suggested it's a perfume oil bottle of some kind.
Funny you should mention that because on the same day I found a Schilling's bottle of the same color, no wavy sides, but I assumed it was a vanilla extract bottle. Didn't post it because it wasn't too exciting but you're probably right.
