We didn't find any Paterson stuff, Jim... Tom just took the bike frame, a couple Iroquois bottles, and a partially labeled R. Burnett & Co. labeled English gin...
A very crude applied top tomato jar/bottle... I've found these in lots of different shapes. I can't for the life of me read what the base says, it's that crude. Ideas???
This was the best bottle of the dig for me! My first bottle from Bloomfield, which is literally my backyard, although I live in Glen Ridge. GR seceded from Bloomfield in 1895, but I can't be sure if this bottle is before or after. "JOHN P. SCHERFF/ PHARMACIST/ BLOOMFIELD N.J."
I managed to find all but one of the pieces of this nice pitcher, maybe for tea. I have no idea how old it is, all I know is I like it! It's got a cool picture of a quaint little house with a windmill.
