Hey NC77 , goto a junk yard and get trunk springs from a trunk lid of a car from the 70's or 80's . The bigger the lid the thicker the rod will be and longer also (we're talking probes now) . Early to mid 90's hondas also use them but much smaller diameter rod .

Someone is making me a probe, but I had the same question awhile ago. I think Lexdigger started a thread on it on here somewhere.
