[align=left]A number of slicks came out too. Some nice/some common.

This shard came out of the older side (in the same hole as some 1880ish shards). Any ideas on what it came from?

It looks like one of those "end of day" pieces, or nailsea glass, to me.
I don't know how far back they date , but it kinda look like some of those nesting hen dishes

Not sure exactly what was in the bottles, I think it was a number of things. I've dug three cobalt ones, o e when I was a kid that said hazard and caswell, which is not listed, but I had thought was the later variant of the bottles. It might have been earlier... I don't have any of them anymore, though I wish I did!

It is the color of nicely refined cod liver oil, and I speak from experience there.

with, or without soda an lime?

I have never heard of this type of glass before, its pretty neat! A quick google search shows a lot of variety.

Has anyone on here dug a full piece?

Now onto the older stuff:

As is expected, the older dump runs along a stream. The dump I initially found has the older goodies, but it has been covered by a swath of boulders. Digging is restricted to reaching between boulders, but almost everything is shattered (even some really thick ginger ale torpedoes).

However, on the opposite side of the stream there is another small dumping area which is pretty shallow. These two Westchester bottles came out of that side:

These two are wonderful! The one on the right seems to be in perfect condition! Is the Yonkers bottle a blob? If so, it's a gem!

Nice Hazard Hazard bottle! I have one myself, and three amber Caswell Hazard bottles. It's rare but doesn't usually go for as much as the more common cobalt examples (color is king). Is it just me, or is the bottle a very light olive yellow color? Can't tell if it's accurate or your camera's color is a tad off. Good luck with the dump!

It has a very olive oil look to it. Its a mix of green/yellow/amber, but its hard to describe.

I just love the name "Hazard Hazard & Co"....

Are these more common in RI? This is the first time I've seen one in these parts...
